When your parents have decided to live apart or are arguing so that you feel unhappy at home you may decide that you need someone to talk to about the ways in which your family may be changing.
If parents cannot sort these problems out for themselves sometimes specially trained people may become involved. They may be counsellors, mediators, Cafcass workers, solicitors or judges. The thought of meeting these people may worry you and you may need help with understanding what is going on.
If these problems are affecting your life why not talk to one of our counsellors to help you sort things out.
For young people who live in the North Staffordshire area (or who are referred to us by Cafcass Stafford or Stoke) we can provide a counsellor who will spend time with you to help you talk through the problems you are facing.
Whether you are unhappy at home, school, or having difficulties with friends, being bullied or are facing the prospect of deciding whether to live with mum or dad we are here to help. Counsellors will not judge you, will treat everything you tell them as confidential (unless they are concerned that you are in danger of being hurt) and help you to cope with your problems.
Ring us or ask a teacher, school nurse or adult friend to contact us now. |
