In a joint partnership with Relate, (Under the banner of Family Talkshop) counselling and support is offered to families dealing with the problems associated with family breakdown.
It is recognised that in order to alleviate the stresses caused by family conflict the opportunity to learn to develop the necessary coping strategies must be made available to all members of a family.
Parents need to understand how their problems affect the lives of their children and how to minimise the negative outcomes of their divorce or separation.
Children need to be provided with the opportunity to say how they feel without fear of being judged or of upsetting either mum or dad.
Family Talkshop provides whole family counselling.
