Childtalk participated in this event by providing an information stand at each of the 5 events held throughout the week.
Through our close involvement with families suffering from the effects of family breakdown we see many young children affected by bullying as a result a low self esteem. The loss of a stable family environment often results in children becoming vulnerable or bullying as a way of expressing their anger.
Information on the service provided by Childtalk, along with leaflets, and free colouring pencils, pens and rulers was displayed on a stand along with Winton, our mascot who was the subject of a ‘name the ted’ competition. |
